One DoS attack, on one cluster of DreamHost, has affected 447 servers, and results in 8 hours downtime on SheepTech, as well as many other websites in the same cluster.

SheepTech is now one, after a year from January 12, 2008. The first year wasn’t good at all, with almost no updates for 8 months due to heavy school work, resulting in a very very slow growth.

I have notice this for quite sometime already since I have the SearchStatus extension installed on my Firefox. I was shocked when it reads the PageRank bar as 7/10 on SheepTech’s main page few months ago during the PageRank update. It must be a glitch or something, I told myself.

Here you go, the second SheepTech report card. The first month performed better than this month, as less effort is put on promoting.

This month’s traffic is not even half of last January’s. Just 712 unique visitors with 1,232 pageviews. Search engine traffic has increased, and Yahoo! was responsible for it. Google doesn’t seem to trust [...]
