Won’t You Just Google Before Asking!?

For some reason, people around me thinks that I am Mr.Know Everything. All kinds of questions are thrown to me, be it something I know or something I may not know. Often, what I do is Google for the answer, then reply them.

People just won’t learn to Google eh? Nevermind, we will teach them.

The next time someone ask you something dumb, don’t Google for them, and don’t reply “Google it, damn it” or “Ask Mr. Google”, or any other variations.

Go to Let me google that for you, type the search query and click on the “Google Search” button.

A link will be generated, and when you visit it, there will be a tutorial on how to Google for that keyword. Just a little screencast showing a cursor moving to the search box, typing the search query, and clicking the search button. There’s even a sarcastic “Was that so hard?” along with it.

For example, a friend ask, “where to download firefox?”, and you will reply, “http://www.letmegooglethatforyou.com/?q=firefox“.

After showing you how to Google, you will be fetched to Google’s actual results page for the search query.

The About says:

This is for all those people that find it more convenient to bother you with their question rather than google it for themselves.

Pretty neat and definitely very very useful. *grin*

Yeah, that happens to me too.

Everytime my friend ask me something, I’ll just google it if I don’t know the answer.

Bah. Google is there for a reason. XD

@Joel: That is what happen to be tech-savvy among bunch of non-tech-savvy friends. But now we have something the counter that.
