Angry Birds is Coming To.. Your Table

After their massive success on iOS, Rovio had launch the addictive casual game on almost all possible platforms, including—Maemo, webOS, Android, Symbian^3, PSP/PlayStation 3, Windows, and Mac OS X.

As if it’s not “cross-platform” enough, Angry Birds will now be coming to your table. It’s not a typo, I really mean table, not tablet.

Angry Birds Knock on Wood

Angry Birds Knock on Wood is a board game based on the popular Angry Birds game on iPhone and other devices. It features a set of wooden bricks (plastic actually), a few green pigs, three birds (red, yellow, black), a mini catapult and a deck of cards.

The gameplay is simple. Player One will draw a card from the deck, which will reveal the obstacle construction and birds to use. Player Two will then build the obstacles exactly as shown, and Player One will launch the birds to bring down the pigs.

The first player that reaches 1,000 points wins. Watch the demo video below.

A set of Angry Birds Knock on Wood will set you back $14.99 and will be available in May 2011.

Wow, I thought you would mention the Windows version of Angry Birds. I am a fan of this game, so absolutely I will get this set although it is not as interesting as the game. :D

It’s quite impressive how an iOS game can get this big, turning itself into a board game, plush toys, cosplay customs etc.

I think the board game will make a good collection for Angry Birds fans.
